Purpose
You use this program to reconstruct the index entries for posting andbudget addresses of the budget structure. Reconstruction is onlynecessary if inconsistencies were detected when you executed the program
Budget Structure: Display IndexInconsistencies.
The index entries are automatically created during the creation ofposting addresses. In addition to the index entries of posting addresses
, the index entries of the corresponding budget addresses are savedbased on the derivation strategy selected. If you change the currentderivation strategy in Funds Management Customizing in the IMG activityDefine Account Assignment Derivation forBudget Addresses, inconsistencies can result from this. In this case
, you must reconstruct the index entries saved in the database inaccordance with the new derivation strategy.

Selection
You reconstruct the index in the FM area/fiscal year for each postingledger.

Output
The number of the reconstructed posting and budget account assignmentsis issued. If errors are found in the derivation strategy, the programrun is terminated and the index is not reconstructed.
