SAP Program RFBKTTTERMMATURE - Calling Fixed-Deposit Accounts

Purpose
You use this report to call a term agreement on maturity. Calling a termagreement concludes the validity of the term agreement and makes itnon-operational.

Prerequisites
You have created Active accounts with term agreements that aredue for calling.

Features
If you enable the product attribute Execute Account Balancing onTerm End (in the Term Agreements feature), the system balancesthe selected accounts for the entire term (excluding the term end date)only on the term end date.

Activity

  • Report Execution

    • You execute the Call Fixed-Term Deposit Accounts report. You canalso include this report in the end-of-day processing chain.
    • Selection of Term Agreements

      • The system selects term agreements whose maturity date is on or beforethe current posting date, and whose term agreement status is Fixedor In Postprocessing During Calling
      • Balancing

        • The calling report executes balancing for the accounts that are not yetbalanced.
        • Repayment and Rollover

          • The system performs either of the following activities:
          If there are no more rollovers, the system transfers the account balanceto the disbursement reference account.
          Initiates a rollover according to the term agreement data.
          The system updates the details of the next term agreement and computesthe contract amount. The system also includes the interest computed forthe previous term agreement in the contract amount if you have notspecified a reference account for balancing.
          • Creation of Payment Order

            • For partial or full repayments, the system creates a payment order totransfer the disbursement amount to the disbursement reference account.The system uses the term end date of the bank area as the value date ofthe payment order.
            • Update of History Records

              • The system updates the account with the details of called termagreements.
              • Correspondence

                • If you selected the correspondence option Calling Term Agreementon the account master record, the system calls Business TransactionEvent (BTE) 11035 at the end of the Call Fixed-Term Deposit Accounts
                report.
                • Application Log

                  • The system writes an application log to record the messages generatedduring the calling process.
