SAP Program REUKEWU3 - Euro: Conversion of FI-CA Documents

Purpose
Report REUKEWU3 converts documents in Contract Accounts Receivable andPayable to euros as part of the local currency changeover. The reportruns in the Conversion phase of the standard changeover package for theeuro and converts:

  • all documents in Contract A/R & A/P

  • Tables: DFKKOP - business partner items of document DFKKOPK -document G/L account items
    • all sample documents in Contract A/R & A/P (same as for documents)

    • Tables: DFKKMOP - business partner items of sample documentDFKKMOPK - sample document G/L account items
      The fields affected are:
      • Local currency amounts

      • Rates

      • Tax basis amounts and tax amounts in the local currency

      • After each individual document has been converted, a check is carriedout to see whether the balance is still zero for the local currenciesaffected by conversion in each company code. If it is not zero, thedifference is corrected using a new rounding difference item. If thereare differences in the various currencies in debit and credit, a roun
ding difference item is created on both the debit and the credit sidesas a new G/L item, in every company code.
You need to define a special G/L account in Customizing for theserounding difference items.
If it is no longer possible to create these new rounding differenceitems due to the number of G/L account items already there, the firstG/L account item with the correct +/- sign and company code that is nota tax item, is adjusted. This document is then logged in tableDFKKDOCCRIT as a critical document.
A check is still carried out before a document is converted to seewhether the balance in the old local currency is zero. If it is notzero, (if the document became inconsistent as a result of programerrors), this document is converted but not corrected by means ofrounding differences. This document is then locked from subsequentprocessing. These documents are also logged in table DFKKDOCCRIT.
You can use report RFKKEWU5 to display these "critical documents".Critical in this sense means that they cannot be converted using thestandard procedure.
All the rounding difference items created during conversion are addedup and the total is logged in the import/export table RFDT.
The new balance in euros is determined for all reconciliation andvalue-added tax clearing accounts in each company code and businessarea. This new balance and the old value of the FI balance (correspondsto the difference created in the G/L as a result of conversion), whichis already in euros, are logged in the import/export table RFDT. Thisdifference is used in the Post phase by report RFKKEWU6 to create thetemplate for the correction posting in FI.
