SAP Program REA_SET_STATUS - Change Archiving Status

Title
Reset Archiving Status

Purpose
If an archiving run for print document headers or line items terminateswith a short dump, it is not possible to access the last generatedarchive file because it has not been included in archive management. Asa result, the data saved in the archive file cannot be deleted from thedatabase, and therefore has to be archived again in a new archiving run. This is not possible, however, because the archive status has alreadybeen set to either 2 (line items can be deleted) or 5 (header can bedeleted), or for budget billing plans to 6 (budget billing plan can bearchived).

Prerequisites
The following prerequisites must be met to start the report:
An archiving run for print document headers, print document line items, billing document headers, billing document lines items, or budgetbilling plans must have terminated with a short dump.
The file system you use for archiving contains a "dummy" archive file.
The corresponding deletion job has already been performed for all thearchiving runs that belong to the archiving object (ISU_PRDOCH ==> printdocument header, ISU_PRDOCL ==> print document line items, ==> ISU_BILL==> billing document header, ISU_BILLZ ==> billing document line items)which caused the termination. This means no archiving data exists withdata that has not been deleted from the database yet.
Use menu item "Administration" in transaction SARA to check this. Shouldyou discover that archiving runs still exist for which no deletion jobhas been started, start the deletion job first.
Do not start report REA_SET_STATUS as long as incomplete archiving runsstill exist for the archiving object that caused the termination.
If you start the report again despite the incomplete processing runs, this means that correctly archived data would be archived again, whichcould have negative effects on the archive information system.
Because this report changes data directly in the database, it isessential that you meet the prerequisites mentioned above.
