Purpose
This report is the second step in archiving service logs in the AMIenvironment. The report deletes documents on the basis of the archivecreated previously.
The archiving object related to the archiving is called ISU_AMILOG.
Using the AOBJ transaction, you can find the definition of the archivingobject and the related Customizing settings.
Using the SARA transaction, you can find archiving administration andthe related Customizing settings.
Using the SARI transaction, you will find the technical view of archivedlog messages.

Integration
The archiving of service logs in the AMI environment includes thefollowing reports:
Archiving report
The system analyzes the log messages from service communication andwrites archivable entries in the archive file.
You can use BAdI Archiving of Service Communication in the AMIEnvironment (ISU_AMI_LOG_ARCHIVE) to override the residence time foreach object type. For more information, see the documentation for BAdIISU_AMI_LOG_ARCHIVE.
Deletion report
The system deletes the entries in the archive file from the databasetables.

Features
This report deletes all log messages of the archive file and all relatedobjects from the database tables.

Selection
When you start the report you can make the following settings on theinitial screen:

• Test Mode: Start the report as a test run; the system does not
make any changes in the database.

• Production Mode: Start the report as a production run; the system
makes changes in the database.

• Detail Log: Display log containing extensive data for every
analyzed data record (can be confusing with large amounts of data).
