Purpose
Accessibility Check INPH3:
A short description of an input field must be recognizable as itsdescription and assigned to the relevent field.

Prerequisites
You can use the report ACC_INPH3_CHECK_AND_REPAIR to find and correctviolations against the rule described above. The report displays anyinput fields and short descriptions that are not linked to each other.In the following they are referred to as related field pairs.
The report assumes the following:
Input fields and short descriptions that are identified as related fieldpairs can be matched with each other on all screens without needing tocheck the context on each screen; any input fields and shortdescriptions that are not identified as related field pairs can never beassigned to each other. Field pairs are either related or not related.They cannot be both.

Features
The report first checks all screens of a selected package or program andgenerates a list of all field pairs found (input fields with their shortdescriptions). The user must now decide whether the fields in a fieldpair are to be registered as related or not related. The list also showswhether the fields are linked by a foreign key relationship, which is anindication of a related field pair. The user can also double-click eachscreen to navigate to the context of the used field. All field pairsmust be classified as related or not related. This information is savedto a table and is globally valid (for all packages).
In a second step, the short descriptions of the related field pairs canbe assigned to the input fields in a background job. The selectedpackages, programs, and screens must belong to a single main package or,at the least, a single software component. Any unprocessed occurrencesare indicated in the log of the background job. These will mostly bescreens that are locked in other requests. Repeat the background jobuntil all occurrences have been processed.
Since related and non-related field pairs are valid for all packages andsoftware components, we recommend that this information is transportedfrom lower software layers to higher layers.
