Title Time Sheet: Transfer to Plant Maintenance/Customer Service Purpose You use this report to transfer time sheet data to PlantMaintenance>/Customer Service> (PM/CS). The report generatesconfirmations for plant maintenance or service orders and, ifnecessary, goods movements for backflushes. You can transfer time sheet data that has the processing status 30 ( Approved>) or 60 (Canceled>). The report transfers therecords from the interface table CATSPM to PM/CS.Integration When generating confirmations for Plant Maintenance or CustomerService, the system also triggers an activity allocation inControlling>.Prerequisites To postprocess records that the system could not post, you requireauthorization for the PM Order Confirmation: CollectiveConfirmation> transaction (IW44).Recommendation Transferring canceled data to PM/CS can lead to poorer systemperformance because, for canceled records, the system reads allconfirmations on the respective operation for each cell that has beenchanged in the time sheet. The burden on the system increasesaccordingly. We recommend therefore that you
- Select only the orders that have been created for a relatively short
period (for example a standing order with a runtime of one year) The more confirmations generated for an order, the poorer the report'sperformance when canceling confirmations.
- Specify in the Number of tasks> field that the report generates
several tasks for each transfer when you have performance problemsFeatures Selection
- Select the data you want to transfer to PM/CS according to personnel
number, date, order, or document number.
- If you do not want to use the current date as the posting date of the
transferred records, enter a posting date in the relevant field.
- If you are entering a cancelation, enter a posting date for
cancelation>, if required.
- In the Number of tasks> field, specify the number of tasks into
which you want the data transfer to be divided. This appliesparticularly if you are processing large volumes of data.
- If another user is already processing an order when you execute the
transfer report, the order is locked. You can therefore enter anumber of lock attempts> for the report. The report then attemptsto perform the transfer as many times as you specify.
- For a list detailing which data was transferred, select Log>.
- If you only want to check which data can be successfully transferred
and for which data errors may occur, select Test run>.Output If you select the Log> option, the report displays a log once thetransfer has been completed. If some records could not be posted during transfer, the report alsogenerates an error pool. The records containing errors are flagged astransferred. You can postprocess them in PM/CS. Note however that thedata in PM/CS no longer corresponds to the data in the time sheet.
