Description
Prior to Release 4.0, the change document object MAT_FULL was used forthe migration object ALMA (ALE migration from the R/2 to the R/3material master).
When you imported material master data to the R/3 System, changedocuments were created for this change document object. Change pointerswere also created for message category MATMAS. These change pointerswere used to initiate the distribution of data to downstream systems.
In Release 4.0, a new change document object is used for migration. Thechange document object MAT_FULL is reserved for the retail materialmaster.
Due to these changes, the assignment between MATMAS and MAT_FULL hasbeen removed from Customizing for Application Link Enabling(ALE).
