Description
The XPRA removes the productive indicator for the material ledger intable CKMLV for all valuation areas (applies to all clients).
The customer must then run another conversion program for all valuationareas (for all clients) in which the material ledger was productive.Proceed as follows in the conversion program:
- Transfer the contents of table CKML to table CKMLHD and CKMLPR
(the number of period records is still open)
- Transfer the contents of table CKML1 to table CKMLPP and CKMLCR
(the number of period records is still open)
- Set up the purchase order history in the ML currencies (Tables MLBE,
MLBECR and MLWERE)
In the time between the removal of the productive indicator (done byXPRA upon upgrade) and the sucessful end of the conversion program, thesystem prevents creating new materials carrying a valuation, enteringgoods movements and invoices, settling orders, and performingperiod-end closing for materials active in the material ledger. Inthese situations, an error message is issued that notifies the user ofthe running conversion program. Therefore, it is extremely importantthat the other conversion program is run between the upgrade andproduction operation.
XPRA can be restarted in the event of an error. It will then onlyprocess those valuation areas not yet processed.
