Purpose
Up to and including Release 4.64, you defined screen variants forbroker report item entry in the Implementation Guide. From Release4.71, you define line layout variants, which usetable controls to enteritems for premiums, commission, claims and costs.
The program offers support for migration of screen variants to linelayout variants, if you change to Release 4.71.

Selection

• If you set the Generate standard variant indicator, the system
creates a standard line layout variant with the name SAP.

• If you set the Migrate old variants indicator, the system
migrates the existing screen variants to line layout variants.

• If you set the For all clients indicator, the system executes
the actions in all clients.

Note
As the old screen variants permitted a 5-figure key, but the new onesonly allow 3 figures, the old keys will be changed - the simplest wayto do this is to remove the last two characters from the key. Thevariant names will remain unchanged.
