Title Off-cycle payroll run for vacation payment Purpose This report provides you with vacation data from past, present andfuture payroll periods for the selected employee(s), and allows youtrigger off-cycle advance vacation payments. Prerequisites Check the following infotypes:
- Absence quotas> (2006>),
- Absences> (2001>).
Features Selection You can make various selections according to time-dependent andorganizational needs. Standard_variants Per default, variant SAP&CALC is used. Output The report retrieves the vacation periods per selected employee anddisplays them in the form of a list containing the followinginformation:
- Payment date (legally, two days before the beginning of the vacation
period),
- Start date of the vacation period,
- Absence type
- Payroll run status.
You can make a test run, with or without log (recommended). To do so,select a record and click one of the two available test buttons ( Test/Display log> and Test/w/o log>). Click List of errors> to display the error log. Possible errorsare classified as information, warnings (non-blocking) or errors(blocking). Once you have corrected your data, you can start an off-cycle run byselecting a record and clicking Execute process>. If theoff-cycle run has been successful, an icon is displayed in thecorresponding column. Note that you cannot process the record againafterwards. In addition, the Advanced List Viewer (ALV) provides you with a set oftools that give you insight into the reported data and allows you toset different views and options for filtering and selecting data,display subtotals and totals, export data to MS Excel and MS Word, senddata as an attachment, or display data graphically.
