Parameter rdisp/use_rfc_dest_lookup Short text Enable lookup of RFC destination for backwardGUI connectionIf RFC connections are created using SAProuter, it is possiblefor synchronous RFCs to communicate with the GUI (for example, fordialogs, SAP automation, or front end printing). In the case ofasynchronous RFCs, and generating external sessions, on the otherhand, terminations occur. The reason for this is that the systemmust create a new RFC connection to the server which the SAP GUI islogged onto in these cases, but the required connection information(back route) for this is missing. To be able to provide the required information for the system, youcan create an RFC destination for these cases, and store theinformation for creating the connection in the gateway optionsthere. This destinations must have the name: <(><<)>DB SID of the client<(>><)>@BACK@ and be a type 3 (connection to an SAP R/3 system) connection. If theparameter rdispa/use_rfc_dest_lookup has the value ON, thisdestination is used when creating connections, otherwise it is not.
