Parameter rdisp/msserv_internal Short text internal port for server communication Parameter description If this parameter has a value n not equal to 0, the message server opensanother port (port number ),in addition to its port sapms<(><<)>SID>.This new port is used only for internal communication with theapplication servers. Application servers must also log on through thisport, otherwise they are rejected. The normal sapms<(><<)>SID> port can still be used for queries. Loaddistribution functions and the retrieval of application server lists andlogon groups are not affected. As a result, the communication modes ofthe message server can be decoupled. For internal communication a different data channel is used from the oneused for external communication, where external clients only haveread-only access. Value 0 means that no internal port is used. This is also the defaultsetting. Caution This parameter must be defined centrally and must be the same on allapplication servers.
