SAP Parameter icm/max_sockets - Maximum numer of sockets to use

icm/max_socketsMaximum number of (simultaneously) open sockets of the ICM or SAPWeb Dispatcher.Each connection can require one or two sockets, depending on thetype of connection:

  • The SAP Web Dispatcher always requires two sockets for a
    • connection
    • The ICM in the SAP Web AS requires two sockets per connection if
      • it is communicating with an SAP J2EE Engine.
