SAP Note 9966 - Call Transaction ME21 Batch Input ME22 CATT

Component : Purchasing -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/9966 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
In batch input or Call Transaction for purchasing document transactions (ME21, ME22, etc.), data for item detail screens is not copied correctly or is copied to the wrong item. This occurs in background mode (mode E) but works properly in online mode (mode A). The issue is due to incorrect cursor positioning. When processed in foreground, the Basis software positions the cursor automatically, unlike in background mode where it must be manually specified. Use the BDC_CURSOR command and specify the RM06E-SELKZ(XY) field to place the cursor correctly. For Release 4.0A and later, use the RM06E-TCSELFLAG(XY) field instead.
