Summary :
SAP systems previously did not perform virus scanning during data archiving, posing a risk of harboring viruses within XSTRING or X data types in the database. This vulnerability arises due to the absence of an essential function. A solution is provided by importing a Support Package, allowing virus checks on XSTRING and X data during the archiving process. The virus scan profile, /SARC/ARCHIVING_ADK, is included in this update but is initially set to inactive. Users must activate this profile to utilize the new functionality.
