Summary :
When activating a hierarchy with the "Use Temporal Hierarchy Join" attribute in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI, a termination error "DUPREC" occurs due to multiple entries being written to the database simultaneously. This happens particularly when leaves of the hierarchy have previously been connected as nodes to the same parent at different times. To resolve, apply Support Package 11 for SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI, following the advisories in Note 914305. Prior to application, ensure implementational corrections from Notes 932065, 935140, 948389, 964580, and 969846 are applied to avoid syntax errors and execution issues.
