Summary :
This SAP Note introduces enhancements to the substitute maintenance workflow interfaces (function group SWRS), integrating the BAdI interface WF_SUBSTITUTE. This Business Add-In allows customization of the rules governing substitute specification in SAP workflows, notably within the universal worklist (UWL). Users can modify how substitute profiles are chosen and restrict potential substitutes' selection. Included function modules are SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE_MAINTAIN, SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE_DELETE, and SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE_PROF_GET. The enhancements require a Basis release of 620 or higher and document detailed BAdI methods in the system documentation. The application of this note is restricted to installation via Support Package.
