Summary :
In environments operating with SAP NetWeaver 04 or 2004s and utilizing transaction iViews via SAPGui for Windows in the Portal, an issue arises where each transaction iView opens in SSF mode, resulting in an external GUI window. This process triggers a new login session for each operation, leading to excessive active transactions in the SAP backend, thereby consuming unnecessary resources. To address this, users can limit the number of simultaneous SAPGui sessions. Configuration is done via the Portal's admin interface by setting the 'Limit Number of SAP GUI for Windows Sessions' parameter. This adjustment helps in optimizing resource allocation and permits session sharing under identical system conditions.
