Summary :
The field selection for order master data maintenance is not aligning with the configurations set for the order type or order status within the SAP system. This discrepancy arises because certain fixed rules on field selection override customization settings. For example, the "Cost center" field is suppressed for revenue-receiving orders in SAP versions up to 3.0F, the settlement receiver and cost element are hidden in orders with a manually-entered settlement rule, and fields such as "Company code" and "Order currency" are locked once costs are planned or actualized. Additionally, budgeted orders cannot be assigned to WBS elements, hiding the COAS-PSPEL field. The predefined program-related field selection supersedes and cannot be overridden.
