Summary :
This SAP Note addresses the IBAN configuration and maintenance for banks in dependent and independent territories using foreign payment systems. For territories using the British system, such as Guernsey, Isle of Man, and Jersey, the IBAN should follow the British format with the 'GB' ISO code. For territories like the Faroe Islands and Greenland which use the Danish system, the IBAN follows the Danish format with the respective 'FO' and 'GL' country codes. Other regions including French Guyana, Monaco, and San Marino should use the French or Italian systems, annotated with 'FR' or 'SM' accordingly. Detailed BTE settings for IBAN generation are provided to ensure proper implementation.
