Summary :
When executing eCATT test scripts via TCD in SAP, an error ATT 377 indicating obsolete control data may appear. This error, further expounded since July 2006, arises particularly when a test script and a test configuration share the same name, leading to the deletion of all control data upon saving the configuration. This issue, potentially only visible when the script runs remotely on a higher release system, can be resolved by following the instructions provided in Notes 198865 and 802475. SAP recommends implementing the correction instructions or importing the Support Packages for SAP_BASIS Release 6.40 SP19 and SAP_BASIS Release 7.00 SP10 to prevent this error. Separation of namespaces between test scripts and configurations also avoids the issue.
