SAP Note 954268 - Optimization of export: Unsorted unloading

Component : DB/OS Migrations -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/954268 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
During a system copy, accelerating the export process by unloading data unsorted may depend on several factors, including the database types involved and specific table types. For Oracle and MSSQL databases, certain conditions and specific R3ldctl patch levels allow for unsorted data unloading. However, sorted unloading is mandated for tables like report, screen, and nametab types, as well as during codepage conversions for cluster tables. Configuration settings in the DDL.TPL file primarily govern these processes, with additional manual adjustments possible through R3ldctl generation or DDL*TPL templates manipulation. SAP recommends using the latest tools and patches from SAP Service Marketplace to ensure optimal implementation of these procedures, particularly when configuring the 'unsorted unload' feature available from SAP NetWeaver 2007 onwards.
