Summary :
During a downtime-minimized upgrade involving SPAM or SAINT transactions in SAP systems, runtime errors may occur due to an R3trans transport program malfunction. Errors such as "Missing implementation of method '...'" manifest when methods deleted in one support package and recreated in another are both imported in the same queue, identified as an "inactive import". The issue is resolved with R3trans versions released post-December 06, 2005, for ASCII systems, and post-October 17, 2007, for Unicode systems, available at SAP Service Marketplace. For already affected systems, SAP Development Support can fix TMDIR table entries using import logs.
