Summary :
This SAP Note provides guidance on importing a subset of SAP programs with a coordinated set, using R3OPT.SAR file for the SAP kernel release 6.40. File regularly updates, containing essential, harmoniously adjusted components eliminating the need for immediate further patching. However, latest patches might be required if R3OPT file is outdated. Installation involves transferring R3OPT.SAR to iSeries IFS via FTP, loading the library using specific commands in the /tmp directory, and utilizing the LODR3KRN command for data retrieval. If Java instances are used, additional updates are necessary, detailed in Note 760162. Restart of SAP system instances is required afterward.
