This SAP Note addresses an issue where objects such as inspection lots are generated without status objects during failed goods receipt postings (e.g., MF40 in repetitive manufacturing). The anomaly arises due to errors in the posting process which prevent status object creation. The resolution involves a system correction available in Release 3.1I, supplemented by an advance correction detailed in the attached documentation. Prior implementation of Note 88312 is required to effectively apply the fix and restore the proper generation and handling of the status objects for goods receipts.
