Summary :
When using a SAPshortcut for SNC (single sign-on) login to an SAP system version > 46C without specifying a transaction code, users experience invisibility of the newly started session. This issue occurs specifically with SAP GUI versions 620 and 640. For SAP GUI 620, the new session is only visible as a sapgui.exe process in the task manager, whereas for SAP GUI 640, it appears within the context menu of the SAPLOGON icon. This behavior is attributed to a program error. To rectify this, installation of patch level [59] for SAP GUI 620 or patch level [15] for SAP GUI 640 is recommended. Additionally, as a temporary fix, setting a specific transaction code in the SAPShortcut or using the -cmd parameter can bypass this issue.
