Summary :
SAP advises that customers using the HR component in productive environments adopt HR Legal Change Patches (LCP HR) offered through Online Correction Support (OCS). These patches, required due to unforeseeable legal changes, are essential for maintaining compliance and are implemented alongside or in replacement of Hot Packages depending on the release version. From version 4.6 onwards, terms HR Support Package (HRSP) and R/3 Support Package (R/3 SP) are used. HR LCPs are available until the maintenance of the concerned release is ceased by SAP, ensuring updates are applied in a secure and reliable manner. HR LCPs accommodate essential legal adjustments for productive payroll systems and other HR functionalities vulnerable to legislative changes.
