Summary :
In a situation where a component with an existing WM material staging is deleted within production, process, maintenance orders, or networks, the SAP system issues message C2 198. Until now, this message type could not be customized. To resolve this, users need to implement specific correction instructions. With these modifications, using Transaction O04C or OPJB, users can now adjust the message category for C2 198 to either an error, warning, or suppress it entirely. Setting message category 'E' prevents the deletion of components, whereas 'W' and no message setting (' ') allow the deletion.
