After implementing changes from SAP Note 356483 for view V_TCURR, users can maintain exchange rates using OB08 in a non-modifiable test system. However, transactions via TCURMNT still prompt the error "TK430: Client &1 has status 'not modifiable.' " This issue arises because TCURMNT handles data aside from the configurable transport options for V_TCURR. To resolve this, the recommended course of action involves implementing a modification that disconnects TCURMNT’s transport mechanism, ensuring that exchange rates adjustments via TCURMNT are only stored locally. This alteration is detailed in the attached modification script. Caution is recommended as this represents a modification. For additional guidance, refer to Note 170183.
