To append, ensure the document setting 'Create new spool request' is inactive, the target request is unfinished ("Completed, no more appending possible" flag not set and no output request generated), and the spool request is not being processed by another user. The possibility of appending relies on matching parameters (e.g., client, owner, format) defined in transaction attributes (SP01). If suitable requests exist, appending occurs to the most recent; otherwise, a new request is created. Parameters agreeability determines if attachment proceeds. Use OPEN_FORM or NEW-PAGE PRINT ON for setting SAPscript document and list print parameters respectively.
