Summary :
In SAP environments, an issue arises when update tables VBMOD and VBDATA accrue entries without corresponding records in VBHDR, making them invisible in SM13. This stems from nested transactions opening internal sessions without completing them with COMMIT or ROLLBACK, causing data to persist inappropriately in VBMOD and VBDATA after a ROLLBACK. Kernel modifications now delete and commit these records to address the problem. Additional patches enhance tracing capabilities to pinpoint problematic applications by capturing transactional details in systemd logs and developer traces, facilitating issue diagnosis and resolution. Patch levels for various releases are provided to ensure compatibility.
