Summary :
In the ABAP debugger, issues with skipping LOOP statements or utilizing the GOTO function within LOOP constructs have been identified. The underlying problem is attributed to the inability to bypass LOOP statements that contain WHERE conditions and an incorrect closure of the loop stack, potentially leading to unpredictable runtime behaviors. SAP has addressed these challenges in the latest kernel patch, which properly facilitates the GOTO functionality in loops. Users are advised to apply the newest kernel patch as outlined in SAP Note 19466, labeled "ABAP debugger GOTO for loops", to correct these issues. This patch is specifically designed for kernel Release 7.00.
