Summary :
When executing the "Restore" function on the Myself source system within SAP, if a user opts to cancel the subsequent "Replicate as well" or "Activate only" selection, the source system connection deactivates unexpectedly. This is due to a programming error where the connection is prematurely set to inactive during activation procedures in BW, and not reactivated unless the procedure completes successfully. SAP Note advises that while users can manually activate the connection through the "Activate" option, a permanent fix is applied with the relevant Support Packages for BW versions 3.0B, 3.10, and 3.50, detailed in associated SAP Notes.
