Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues with RFC server interactions, including work process halts during RFC server connection setups leading to errors such as COMMUNICATION_FAILURE and RFCIO_ERROR_SYSERROR, unnotified RFC clients about communication errors, and occasional gateway terminations signaled by signal 11. Patch levels have been released for SAP versions 4.6D, 6.40, and 7.00 to correct these errors, whereas the 6.20 kernel remains uncorrected due to its replacement by the 6.40 kernel. Users are advised to update their systems to the specified patch levels to resolve these issues.
