Component : DB2 for AS/400 -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/82079 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
During normal operations in SAP environments, journal receivers may grow to a point where a new one needs to be created and the old one detached to avoid overflowing the Auxiliary Storage Pool (ASP). To effectively manage storage, SAP offers an automation program for saving and deleting these detachable journal receivers. Introduced in the original 1997 version of the file SAVDLTRCV, users must beware of potential issues like endless loops triggered by system messages other than CPF7020. The attached solution provides source files for two programs and commands to automate this process. Importing these files involves using FTP to transfer the save file to an i5/OS server and then restoring it with specific system commands.
