SAP Note 81374 - Compare receivables/payables with FI

Component : Periodic Data Transfer - Business Area Accounting

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/81374 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
Differences have been noted in reconciliation accounts between Financial Accounting (FI) and Profit Center Accounting (PCA), with some postings being incorrectly attributed to a dummy profit center. To resolve these issues, users must avoid entering reconciliation and adjustment accounts in Transaction 3KEH. It’s imperative to execute subledger transfers and foreign currency evaluations before performing Transactions F.5D and 1KEK at period ends. Also, financial documents must follow SAP's standard rules for balance sheet adjustments, and issues of discrepancies between FI and PCA can be reviewed and corrected using Transaction KE5T and performing thorough checks with the ZREC1800 report. Additionally, follow the specific guidelines for addressing postings to dormant profit centers and reverse incorrect transfers using SAP recommended reports and procedures.
