Summary :
Starting from support packages 6.20 #45 and 6.40 #10, SAPScript and Smart Forms will default to MS Word as the editor due to the non-Unicode compatibility issues of the PC Editor with languages like Hebrew and Arabic. Transition details are provided for activating or deactivating MS Word as the editor via RSCPINST or RSCPSETEDITOR in SE38. Further SAP note 742662 should be consulted for detailed prerequisites and reasons concerning Unicode transition. Transition mechanisms vary slightly based on whether the support package is below or above SAPKB62049 or SAPKB64011.
