Summary :
In the SAP environment, when a reference characteristic is introduced into a class of type 022/023, existing batches initially lack valuation for this new characteristic, impacting batch determination. To address this issue, manual reclassification of each batch is inefficient for larger volumes. The developed solution involves utilizing Report ZVBRECLB, which facilitates automatic reclassification of batches, essential for integrating the new characteristic effectively. This tool ensures batches meet the selection criteria by updating class entries automatically. For specific handling of batches with incorrectly updated reference characteristics, Report ZVBGETIB provides targeted reclassification capabilities, contingent on implementing Note 84342 in Releases 3.0C to 3.1H.
