Summary :
After applying corrections or modifications to SAP Report Writer generating programs or templates, regeneration of report groups is mandatory to avoid runtime errors. This can be done through individual generation in GR55, mass generation via RGRJBG00 allowing selective regeneration, or implicit mass regeneration using RGRSJS95 which marks groups as 'regeneration required'. Important to note, data extracts are managed differently across version releases: prior to 4.0 and from 4.5 onwards, with stored extracts not being deleted post-4.5. For effective troubleshooting, deletions and new creations of extracts are necessary when updates do not rectify issues.
