Summary :
In SAP environments involving cross-company code goods movements, trading partner (VBUND) inheritance in all line items of an FI document occurs under specific conditions. Currently, VBUND inheritance is limited to cases where exactly two company codes are involved, the 'Post Cross-Company' indicator in the document type is not set, and all related line items except company code clearing lines are profit and loss accounts. The attached solution allows for VBUND inheritance even when line items include balance sheet accounts by implementing specific source code changes, updating the database table GB01, and setting up FI substitution with a user exit. This modification addresses the need in cost of sales accounting contexts.
