SAP Note 703368 - SAP_SYSTEM_START. Transferring event parameters

Component : Background Processing -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/703368 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
The issue occurs when powering on batch application servers with an enabled batch function, causing all jobs waiting for the SAP_SYSTEM_START event to start rather than just the job associated with the targeted server. To resolve this, batch servers will now trigger the SAP_SYSTEM_START event with a unique parameter, which includes the instance name (__). This ensures only jobs configured to respond to specific instance parameters or those without parameters will start. Updates are made available through Support Package kernel patches: 46d Patch 1787, 620 Patch 1386, and 640 Patch xxx.
