Summary :
The SAP R/3 system lacks innate availability control for cost centers, allowing budget overruns without alerts. To manage this, employ a workaround via statistical job orders linked to cost centers for primary postings. Assign the cost center's budget to a statistical job order and activate its availability control. Utilize CO substitution (transaction OKCJ) so postings to the cost center also post to the job order, checking the budget accordingly. Note restrictions: automatic allocations are not covered by this method. Refer to note 45254 for systems before Release 3.0D.
