Summary :
Due to misassignments in language settings across SAP master tables such as KNA1, LFA1, and KNVK, discrepancies have arisen. Language fields in these tables do not accurately reflect textual language but instead indicate correspondence or partner language. The introduction of Business Address Services (BAS) in version 4.5 allowed address data to be handled more efficiently, integrating it into a unified management system where addresses are stored in separate BAS tables linked to master records through pointers. Corrective measures involve adjusting ABAP Dictionary settings, specifically deactivating the "Text language" indicator in the aforementioned tables. Details of applicable support packages are also provided to address and resolve these dictionary setting issues.
