SAP Note 676395 - SPAU/SPDD: Deleted objects after upgrade <= 4.0B to > 4.0B

Component : Customer Extensions - SAP Notes Assistant

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/676395 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
After upgrading from SAP system version 4.0B or lower to a version above 4.0B, unchanged objects may appear as "Deleted objects" in SPAU/SPDD. This issue is linked to the way modifications were logged from Release 4.5B onwards, logging at subobject level, unlike earlier versions where logging was mostly at main object level. The discrepancies occur when upgrade logs are converted from R3R objects to LIMU objects and no corresponding technical settings or objects exist for the logged modifications. Addressing these in SPAU/SPDD involves confirming the deletions thereby clearing obsolete logs. Note enhancements from version 4.5B through 4.6D to SPAU involve the Note Assistant for handling such objects.
