Summary :
In Funds Management (FM) or related integrated modules, unexplained account assignment derivations may occur. This SAP Note introduces a trace function to analyze these derivations. Users should activate the trace using Transaction FMDERIVE, selecting "Test", then "TRACE", and initiate the concerned transaction. The trace function displays each account assignment and its derivation rules, enabling detailed analysis of each step. Adjustments to the derivation strategy may be necessary if undesired outcomes are identified. For issues deemed as SAP program errors, consult PSM-FM-UP-AD via a customer message.
