Summary :
After deleting job logs at the operating system level in SAP environments, inconsistencies in the TemSe (Temporary Sequential File) subsystem prevent job deletions. This issue arises because the TemSe handles the logistics of these logs. When a job is deleted, the corresponding log file should also be removed through TemSe, which fails if the file was already manually deleted, resulting in a system inconsistency error. To resolve, run program RSTS0020 or use transaction SP12 for a TemSe consistency check, and optionally, execute RSBTCDEL in forced mode to clear unresolved logs. Future deletions should utilize SAP transactions to avoid discrepancies.
