After implementing SAP Note 583993 or importing Support Packages SAPKH46C42 or SAPKH47007, an issue arises where storage locations not maintained in the material master can still be assigned to project stock components. This allows unintended goods movements but aligns with the behaviors intended in Note 583993. To revert to previous storage location logic, implement the source code modification provided for enhancement PPCO0005. Note the necessary prerequisites of implementing Notes 583993 and 623082. Be aware, this customization is a MODIFICATION, placing maintenance and usage responsibility on the customer.
