Summary :
When using the BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN module in SAP to create a new plant maintenance or service order, an error message IW161 stating “Order %00000000001 does not exist” may occur. This is traced back to a program error as detailed in SAP Note 640158. It’s recommended to implement the corrections prescribed in this note to resolve the issue.
