Summary :
When accessing maintenance views for BW global settings (RSCUSTV..), SAP issues message SV 051 indicating lack of authorization for data changes, showing only display options. Furthermore, the settings do not display post-message. This is traced back to a programming error. Resolution varies with BW release: for BW 3.0B, importing Support Package 15 (SAPKW30B15) following release information in note 571698 remedies the issue. For BW 3.1, Support Package 9 (SAPKW31009) is recommended as per note 571720. An alternative fix involves an advance correction. For details on Support Packages, refer to note 110934.
